Certainly sorely disappointed with the result, particularly after leading as we did, their three goals can all be put down to our errors, the third coming when it did was devastating.Let us, however, not loose sight of who we were playing not so long ago Premiership and FA cup winners and a large club looking for a return of their status. As has been said were where we last season and prior, who are we, a young inexperienced team still showing big clubs (Coventry, Shef U, Wallsal,Wigan etc.) that we can mix it with the best, come on now have we forgotten max points from last four games, even in defeat we are still second in a very tough league
This loss is hard to take but is part of the learning curve that the squad is going through, this surely is not the time to commit Hari Kari or drown in our tears but a time to get behind the squad and be supporters giving suport not whinging. We have lost before and come bouncing back and I see no reason why we can not do it again, as long as we keep the faith.

However, to put Walsall and Wigan in such high esteem as Shef Utd and Coventry is pushing it a bit far. Gillingham should not feel in fear of any team, especially a Walsall or Wigan.
It made me crinch how the television commentary made Wigan sound like Real Madrid. The Club itself is no bigger than Gillingham with about the same support in this Division. A multi million £ owner took them to the Premiership and FA Cup success, but nobody cared when they were relegated. A small Club who eventually got what it deserves, according to the Big Clubs in the Premier league. To think they are still getting massive parachute payments is also a massive disadvantage to other teams in Div 1.
When we played Wigan at Wembley they barely took 11000 supporters. Gillingham took 50000.
Gillingham are not inferior in any way, apart from in the television and other people's imagination.
Agree entirely Wigan are a small club lucky to have had Dave Whelan in charge !
I found it frustrating that just because they played in the division that has devastated our footballing identity in this country (over hyped Premier league) they were looked upon as a big club, they are like Rochdale with cash!!!
