I know its only half time, but 2-0, we really do know how to shoot ourselves in the foot don't we, it looks like all those games we lost from winning positions, especially the 3 games we lost 3-2 from being 2-0 up are seriously going to come back to haunt us. I really can't see us getting play offs now, we have hit abysmal form right at the wrong moment, especially at home, we really need a miracle. Still Mr realist me never expected play offs anyway, so I shouldn't be that bothered, yet the manner of it means I am

Now I know jed has lost the plot playing oshlija at left back ? He's a slower right footed centreback ? That can't cross with his left foot so always had to stop and pass backwards it completely undermines and goes against what this team is about no wonder we can't score -and at home too ? Crofts was again awful Non of our forwards can head a ball near goal What is the point of our corners , dead balls into the box, and long balls into the box - all so predictable

I don't think there's a group of players in the world who could have scored being asked to play that formation. I was so excited when Edinburgh was appointed and for a while it looked like genius but I have no idea what he's been thinking last few games and today topped them all.
No wide players, AT ALL. Long balls up to a semi fit (Short) Cody and Donnelly who looks scared of the ball

Totally agree with the corners we are pretty useless at them. I would love to know what the conversation rate is for the year. No doubt someone will tell me.

Agree Evo. I'd love to know why Garmston seems so out of favour

It's generally best all round if I stay away when performances disappoint gillsjan but I broke my own rule in disgust tonight :-D

Too many injuries and no strikers with strength in the box! The loan players other than El Abd are proving a liability, sadly they seem to be here just to get match fit! Crofts has saddened me as I thought he would show more passion got his home town club! Rochdale unbeaten in three games looks a mission impossible along with the playoffs!
Hess and Dickenson should have started today in midfield and left back!

I thought Dickenson had a shocker when he came on. Love the way we all see it differently

Agree Evo. I'd love to know why Garmston seems so out of favour [br It maybe that he struggles to drop oshilaja as he's on loan till the end no matter how bad he plays as he was responsible for one of walsalls goals the other night Also I watched Dickerson closely today and he got caught out defensively on two occasions today which nearly resulted in port vale scoring also his crosses never found any heads today and a very poorfreekick / it has to be a few weeks of poor performances for Dickerson to get dropped whereas if Garmston coughs he seems to get dropped - maybe because it's easier to drop the new young lad Well JED got this wrong big time today imo JED needs to get off his a... And now actually needs to sort this formation and coach the shape and work on phases in and out of posession as we are poor at both these factors JED has nullified our attacking force with this team selection

I thought Dickenson had a shocker when he came on. Love the way we all see it differently I do not rate Dickinson that highly but surely he would have been better starting at left back than Oshi!

Garmston is a good player but like most of our loan players has been poor lately!

Garmston's not on loan. Little injuries seem to affect him more than most, hence his up and down form, but I'd guess that's because he's working close to his physical capacity more often than most.
I like Dickenson as an attacking winger but when the role is left back, I much prefer Garmston.
