People aren't genuinely talking about sacking the manager are they? After 12 games

Everyone of them undisclosed, and out of the 4 you named Nolan has managed to score one goal.( Yes I know there not all forwards) I guess the undisclosed fees were one of two things , a can of paint to paint the sellers main stand, and a couple of pairs of boots, or hopefully the Gills only paid 50% of the fee up front and the rest depending on production. It is fine if you don't think they need to spend money to bring in a true goal scoring forward , hopefully they team will get it's act together and we will finish in at least a playoff spot this year.

I'm all for that, but if we give him until january to get put some players out then we give him the season. Personally I think things will become untenable in the next few weeks and there will be no other option. Imo he just cant do it, like the last 2.

This 👆 People have a narrative and twist facts to fit without worrying about the reality. None of the 4 I listed as having paid fees would have been cheap. You can debate their effectiveness, but that’s down to the recruitment team, not the level of investment. |
