Well I don’t care if both teams were crap, for the Gills to win 3 points after such a terrible run is good enough for me.
We had to read about how brilliant Port Vale are, but it just goes to show any result is possible in this division.
I’m so pleased that Bonnor and the team achieved this result, especially after all the negative talk and defeatists attitude lately. Onwards and upwards.
Not the only downside with the recent bad run of results, but the attendance today was about 1000 down on recent league games. That won’t help the club finance better players. How fickle the fan base is.

We're a shitety support. But think that's cause we've been a shitety club for so long. Fingers crossed we continue the engagement of the last year and we'll soon build confidence in the support so they actually want to turn up.
Great to stop the rott today. Onwards and upwards. I think we'll be in and around the the playoffs at the end of the season which was what I expected from the start.
Imagine if Dack hits form in the new year. No one in this league will be able to keep up!

I’ve mentioned this elsewhere, but when I started going, we were way way worse and it didn’t matter. We made more noise, moaned less and supported our lot more, even under Roeder, Flanagan, Smilie etc when we were truly awful. Our fans now go nuts as soon as we lose a game and the atmosphere in Priestfield ranges from non existent to toxic. Little wonder we aren’t successful.

Agreed Obviously people are entitled to their opinion but in my view most modern football fans are pathetic and spolied

Thats a possibility but when you are obviously capable of more, when there money available, when you re underperforming and when the ambition has been mentioned, the club is still not being run right and it's a customer service, because, as we re told today, it's a business, then I'm afraid its gonna happen, thats the way the world is. The times mentioned was when we had nothing, we were scraping together wins with commitment, we were all behind the endeavour...different game, different players today, money involved, people expect more, some wound say quite rightly. No ones gonna sit and watch unentertainment for 25 quid for 90 minutes, blow me I can watch first class cricket all day for that.

Btw. Some on media are suggesting it was a stonewall penalty on Turner yesterday, I've watch it a few times, I cant see how Turner touched him and the player really fell over Turner and/or himself. What do others think?

The point is, if the supporters aren’t prepared to get behind the club and yes invest in the way forward, why do they think they can moan and groan about how the club is run. When the Galinsons took over the club, most sensible supporters were hopeful that better days were achievable. We as supporters are all in it together, or do those fickle supporters expect the Galinsons to just put their hard earned dollars in, and take the abuse and dissatisfaction of so called supporters. The club will never get back to the higher leagues unless this apathy changes.

What do others think? It was right in front of me and the reason the ref didn't give it was that the forward took a tumble beforehand in looking for it. Had he stayed on his feet he would have got an easy pen from Turner, served him right. Also felt this played on their minds after which was good for us.
