I feel sorry for the fans who turned up and witnessed another poor home performance. I know we need to look at certain players but surely Norris has had his chance now and will be shown the exit door now, feel a little frustrated that we find it hard to break teams down recently at home and the lack of creativity in midfield needs to be sorted in the summer with Jake hess being loaned out for a start.
The experimenting with fringe players has been a little hasty. I would had done that nearer the end of he season when we knew for sure we could not make the playoffs.
Up the gills !!!!

I'm guessing one of the gang of four might have been involved in the wonderfully tried and failed plan B of boot it to a centre half(Legge)!

Marquis had a very poor game today I would have rather seen him subbed than Norris

Big build up, Big ambition. Big ideas, big crowd, unfortunately another big disappointment at home. Again.
I've said it before, get the points first before playing fringe players. Our home form is relegation form and fare. Headless chickens comes to mind.
I feel sorry for the hundreds of kids who turned up to watch this latest non event.
Still need five points in my opinion.

Awful game and whilst some of the players weren't great I thought the team was poorly set up against a big physical side and the management team needs to look at their tactics or lack of them. We had no ideas and within 5 minutes of the kick off I knew we were going to lose or at least be in for a torrid day. Agree gillsjan marquis should have gone before Norris, who's confidence must have been shot to pieces when he miss controlled that ball in the first half to get a manager jumping up and down like a spoilt 2 year old and shouting at him. Not good management and disappointed with that reaction to say the least. Please can somebody tell me what dack is doing in a position, which again meant he was a bystander with him just preening himself when he lost the ball or wasn't in the game. We needed a midfield 4 today and instead we had 2 with mcglashen watching from afar too. Mom my arse, loft was by far that today for the sheer miles he run to cover for the midfield excuse. When he gets the ball he has no pass to make as everything is in front of him and covered by defenders who know exactly how we are going to play as we are the same week in week out. Style of play concerns me, we have reverted to conference/div2 and that has to come from JE/Hess. We need to open the pitch up and play football so come on you two open your eyes!

Absolute dire performance yet again! I prefered it when Stevie Lovell was the figurehead! Have to hope Justin is astute in the transfer market and we will be a better team next season! To see Hessy standing on the touchline fills me with dread I am hoping Justins proper no two joins him next season! The day started poorly for me when I was given not the seats I expected in the main stand,I should have guessed we were going to lose because since the new main stand has been built we have only won about three games out of ten when I have sat there,Rainham end for me in future! Regarding young Norris can't understand why he started but he didn't perform that badly today as for Dickenson thats another matter hopelessy out of his depth! What joker chose McGlashan as man of the match as Bell won it by a mile! We have to give Justin a chance but he certainly hasn't impressed me I am wishing Stevie Lovell was still in charge! Bradford game clashes with the Grand National looks like I will be giving that a miss!

I thought Loft was Man of the match also. Bell had a very good second half. Ehmer was ok. Hoyte was ok. Norris isn't good enough. Egan came up against a good forward and struggled. Dack was poor. Morris was average. Marquis was useless. Mcglashen hasn't got an end product and is only an impact sub. Mcdonald did nothing. I don't see Dickensen at all. Overall I'm disappointed but let's just hope it was a blip.

This for me shows the difference between Crawley and Fleetwood.Procter impress me for Fleetwood.I would agree Bell MOM Loft some way off second for me although McGlashan or Dack would have won it at Crawley. We have stumbled again at home but we had the same players and formation that worked so well at Crawley. At least we know where we are now please stop this manager bashing Justin has kept faith with a few and is finding his feet against the better sides if you go behind it is hard to get back into it with such a young side.we just did not get the breaks today.Chill out a bit Monday is another day we were always going to take two steps forward and one back.It is better JE finds out about what he has now.On Norris I think he mainly lack confidence at present maybe he is not ready to start. But better JE knows where he is at with all the members of next years squad.Unless Norris demands a move he will be with us next year.He will score goals too.

Perhaps stato we need to stop playing away formations at home then and be more daring with our tactics/formations, which have been awful the last four home games. There are very few teams who play the same home and away and that is at all levels of football or indeed sport in general. I would expect us to play a little narrower and tighter away, but home we should be taking the game to the opposition, at least against mediocre opposition like fleetwood and let them do the guessing instead of playing into their hands.

Statoblue..... I'm not too sure many will agree that Norris will score enough goals next season to warrant amother season with the gills. Hope he joins keds at ebbsfleet or Maidstone utd.
I am disappointed with today's performance because we had loads of potential future fans who will be unhappy with the performance and it makes you wonder if they will return again.

I am thinking of going to the Orient game but if Edinburgh starts Norris alongside either marquis or cody , we are in trouble. Cody needs to play with marquis...Full stop. Our 2 best strikers need to finish the season together regardless now. I knew long ago Norris was not going to make the grade as a league 1 striker, shame it's taken this long to realise the obvious,
Wholesale changes....the sooner the better.
Brennan Dickenson Jake Hessenthaler josh pritchard gavin hoyte danny galbraith luke Norris
I know all gills fans are hurting from this defeat and not playing Cody from the start was criminal. Edinburgh needs to buck his ideas up now. No more playing Norris and dickenson and any more tickering please. Enough is enough.
