It is great that we are certainly reaping the benefits of sacking PT. First time since September 2013 that we have lost 4 games on the bounce. I am sure that our friend from Swansea and his friends are really satisfied and happy now. A very large ship without a rudder comes to mind.

I so agree with you greenhillgill what a bug...s mudd..l we are in now. How do we get out of this one. PT must be laughing himself silly. Sick to death of hearing all the negatives about PT what a stupid time to sack a Manager when we were on an upward trail.

A very large ship without a rudder comes to mind. Sailing up a certain creek without a certain implement?

You're missing the point, terry. Irrespective of what people thought of him as a manager, it's the way it was done which is being discussed on this thread.

Seemed like a knee-jerk reaction by Scally but without knowing what was said during the heated phone call we will never know. What we do know is that we to get a new manager in asap.

The views are pretty entrenched unfortunately. Sadly a small, loud minority got Taylor sacked. We've lost 3 on the spin since, but they'll blame it on something else and then start criticising the new man who will need a miracle to keep us up.

Weather we like it or not Taylor is now confined to the gills history books. We must move on even if we don't want too.The fact that we have seen so many people leave the club already makes it clear to me that Scally knows who the next manager is. The big question is are their replacement going to be better or worse. Can the new manager get the current players playing better.Weather we agreed or not we have to see now how things go in the next few days. Giving our support to the new manager and no doubt new players could be very important. How we move forward under him may prove who was right or wrong. But if we don't believe in him nor will the players. If Scally was right to remove Taylor,we all win (Taylor apart.)If wrong, we all lose including Scally and those who thought he was right. Look forward not back.Todays game at least puts to bed any talk of the job going to any our all of the gang of four.
Give the new boss your backing.

We could get mourinho in to replace taylor but even he would struggle with the crap players we have

I will certainly back the next new manager but I just wonder if we have left it a little too late to recover. It will be a difficult job to recover from this situation.

What you have to all remember is that the management team consisting of 4 guys is only temporary and all players have a clean slate to show if they are committed to the cause, it's quiet obvious that many of then are not up too scratch and who do you blame ?? This was taylors team, many of them do not meet expectation and hopefully will be sold or released.
Only Nelson, Dack, loft, hoyte, cody and other keeper Morris worth holding to the rest are not worth perserving with.
To say sacking taylor was a mistake is nonsense. He mad this mess and our squad needs a complete overhaul. We need iron rod style management now. We don't want players not up for the fight which has been the case since taylor this season.

You change your mind on the players who are worthwhile each week. You've missed Egan from your list and Aaron Morris. You've added players you were slating a few weeks ago! Dickenson and Norris were doing ok recently. There is plenty of talent in our squad and as most are out of contract, as usual you are being totally unrealistic to suggest we can just move players on. A massive turnover of players will cost us money we don't have

Swans when will you wake up pal? Yes it was Taylor's team that were on the up when he got sacked we have beat Peterbrough drawn with Swindon this season so we was competitive with the best teams in the division on our day. Now look at the mess we are in now that Taylor has gone. I am not saying I wanted him forever I would have been happy to sack him at the time we did if scally had a replacement straight away then we wouldn't be where we are right now
