Like you I was right about Taylor from the offset but I disagree with you regarding the players! Hess might not be the best player in the team but he has played well in a more forward attacking role, yes there might be better players out there but he is part of a unbeaten team at the mo so would it be ideal to replace him? Regarding Loft my only gripe is his poor Captaincy but again he is part of a team on a unbeaten run so he must be doing something right! Regarding Hoyte to me he is a extremely competent defender! As for bringing Legge into the team his confidence is shot and I will never forget his bambi on ice performance against Bristol City in the 4-2 defeat! Let's hope Justin does bring a couple of experienced players in but then slowly faze them into the team, you just can't drop players willy nilly when you are on a unbeaten run!(I bet that's the first time you have seen Willy nilly in a post; fresh from his stint at Kilmarnock)!

Cheers I-blue for the report. We get an away draw, which would have been a win if not for a very poor ref decision and the abuse starts already. Some individual really needs a sense check, we are on a 8 game unbeaten run. As I said on another post some people will see this now as a poor season if we don't make the play offs, let's get some perspective here and enjoy the rest of the season.

Ok, 888, Im going to rise to the bait. You've criticised certain players. Who IN OUR CURRENT SQUAD would you replace the players you have criticised with? Hoyte for? Hess for? Loft for? Galbraith for? Etc etc etc

I'm happy how things have turned out after taylors rapid exit and he is a distant memory now. Lol.
The decision on doug loft and jake hess I understand completely but at the end of the day the manager should makes choices based on performances and that has not been the case regarding them two and being a true gills fan, i know that there are better players around and I'm sure Edinburgh has players in mind and will bring them in at some point because there is plenty of room for better players to come in and improve our team, but the question is whether we stick with this group till end of the season.
Onwards and upwards.

So, 888, you have been calling for various players to be dropped, but now appear to accept that we are playing our strongest squad. In that case, shouldn't you shut up and support them, especially after a good run? Oh, and by the way, you have slammed Luke Norris time and time again, yet he scored another important and excellently taken away goal

We are work in progress under Edinburgh like I said before there is plenty of room to improve our squad but when ?? Only our boss can answer that question.
Hessisgod...The players mentioned by me are the weak links. I was right about Taylor way before you accepted that he was useless and I'm right again but when and if Edinburgh decides in his own mind is another story, trust me mate I'm streets ahead of you . I'm Bradley Dack and your josh pritchard, there is no comparison. Go back to your hole.

As I have said in another thread the most important thing JE can do is nothing.Bring in loan players will disrupt the group.Doing nothing can often be hard to do whichever team you talk about could always be better.I am sure we can all find fault with Chelsea for example and a player we would replace. This season should be used to give lads confidence to believe they can do it.I and others have called for a signing or two but by keeping faith players will feel wanted. Will bond them as a group. We can build something but you need solid foundations this takes time.Having managers wishing they had some of our players having players at our level wishing they played for us mean we can be a force in this league.Of course we can improve and I am sure there will be those who will be moved on.But Luke Norris is a example of someone who is willing to push forward against the odds.Give it time let players fight for the places but they must do what Luke has done give JE a problem. In answer to your question HESS watch and wait we have some quality in midfield areas at the club who i believe are almost ready. But they will have to fight for those places at the moment we have got the best the club has to offer in the side.I expect a few others to get a chance to shine without signing players.Give it time support those in the shirt.

You get it wrong again and again and again. I'd have some respect if you were consistent in your views, but you aren't. I'd also have some respect if you could construct an argument with views based on evidence rather than just rants, but that's unlikely given your track record. I've shown evidence of you continually changing your mind and you simply come back with a lot of rubbish and then resort to stupid quotes like "go back to your hole." Again, I remind you that you were slating Norris and now aren't. You wanted Hoyte to be in the team and now you want him replaced. You didn't like Ehmer and now you aren't criticising him. You didn't want Marquis when we signed him- got that wrong too didn't you? Everyone on this message board knows that you change your mind every 2 minutes and have nothing constructive to add to the varied and healthy debate on here. Even with Taylor, you claim to have "got it right" but he was your number 2 choice as manager as jan proved from your old posts. Yes YOU backed him before he was made manager. In addition, it's with his team that we are now sitting close to the play offs with signings you criticised. It's also youth that are carrying this team when you wanted journeymen pros and said we had too many young players. The other thing you miss is that you need both a Pritchard and.a Dack in a team. A side of Dacks wont win you games, nor would a side of Pritchards. As soon as you start understanding anything about the game, you'll realise that. In the mean time, you'll carry on spouting the same old rubbish, changing your mind more than your socks and then claiming to be some kind of football guru. Frankly, my Mum knows more about the game than you, and she's been to 2 live football games in her life. As for you being close to Bradley Dack, you're more like Mike Flannagan, without the prior football ability.
