Good grief people were two points outside of a play off spot ,some of you guys are like the football geniuses on the TV, Luton 3-0 Bournmouth , and you have two experts sitting round the table ,oh wow is me, they going to find it difficult to come back from this after all there is only 45 minutes left to play, and we all know what the final score was. Gillingham will pick up three points this weekend and yes I know Grimsby won on Tuesday, there not going t scare the Gills, then we have a few tough matches coming up until the end of the season , but we can pick up points along the way and hang on in there, all of the teams around us are going to be dropping points,so were still in the running. Hang on in there you Gills ,start showing a bit of pride and give us one play off game........... or maybe more ?

The double standards are stunning. 2 points off 2nd - sack the manager. 2 points of the playoffs with a vastly inferior goal difference - it'll be OK.
For reference, we're 14th in the form table. Grimsby one ahead of us.

With Harris we were going nowhere, with Clem appears to be the same
Similar standards

Grimsby one ahead of us. Hess, having sacked Harris in what some determine as an inadvisable manner, they can't repeat it now. They ve backed themselves into a corner re Clem and they all seem to be hoodwinked by Stats. We all know it isn't that simple but sacking Clem now would show just how amateur they ve all been, nothing new where Hess and Scally are concerned. They Dare n't do that, unless Clem walks out of frustration which is basically what Evans wanted to do and Scally cutting off his nose to spite his face, didn't allow it, then they have to ride it out, include Clem much more than they did previous managers in the recruiting process and hope to high above that this time they get it right. But it WILL need money, they have to invest in the playing squad which still hasn't dawned on them properly. This of course means that the current set up has to stay for another year to work out its failures, not economical is it? Especially if it fails. Meanwhile to keep people's hopes up and season ticket sales upward, they have to make promises which they need to keep regarding the Brian Moore stand and early clear out and introduction of proper quality players in May, instead of waiting till the last minute, this WILL cost money, but what do you do when your coach can't coach players to be leaders or play with confidence and quality? I don't expect the best based on what we've seen but I hope I'm wrong. Players we have supposed to be after, like Raggett, Wells and others, we may have been but they are quality and you have to pay for it especially attracting them to league two. It don't look good. It just don't.

Clem s got to go for Grimsbys throats on Saturday but I'm not sure he knows how to do that, any more than Harris did. That is sad. Grimsby will be slavering to get into us and exploiting our awful weaknesses.

Cannot see us beating Grimsby....there is so much toxicity surrounding those around Brad and he needs to listen to the fans who know the 3 Amigos are affecting every facit of the club.
Bring Steve Evans back for next season and you can guarantee we will be promoted.
Clement can go back to coaching under 14's at Chatham Town.
That's about his standard and I am being kind.

But this comparison ignores the fact that Harris had been given a much longer run at it than Clemence. And that Harris oversaw is scoring what was it, 7 goals in half a season?

I’ve always been clear that Harris should have been sacked December 2022. Im equally clear that I wouldn’t sack Clemence now, but I would after the Doncaster game to get someone in for next season.

I predict us all over them from the start and winning 3-0. Totally different mindset, attacking from the go, using a new formation and quick wing play.........................

I look at his formation again and to me it smacks of no ambition. It looks inflexible and destined for failure unless we use our wing backs, which we dont. So what is the point of it? Who is playing in front of the back four? Dieng? Which leaves Williams and Lapslie to link with the wing backs and Mahoney. But we don't stick or twist, we do something in between, neither one nor the other, so we ll get caught on the break should we venture forward. Anyone help me as to what hes after?

He really needs to win this game. That formation leaves him open to massive criticism if it doesn't work. Especially with them being without Danny Rose
