Finally out. I think a lot of people will be surprised at how many players are under contract. Bonner will broadly have to make do with the same players next season, with a couple of additions up front and out wide

I would not have offered Jeffries or Morris another deal and Max staying is OK but we need another strong Centre half. We do need a block of players which we have. It's up to bonner to bring in some quality to make them better especially people like Jayden. I would go and get Clarke Harris straight away and tell Jeffries and Morris that they ve got 2 weeks or they re off.

Jeffries won’t be stating. He’ll be joining a bigger club and we’ll get compo as he’s under 24.

5/6 under contract I would like to see moved on, but little chance of that, so not great for Bonner IMO. Most of them I guess are our bigger earners, so can’t see much manoeuvring room to bring big names in. Would deffo try to keep Jeffries, but agree Hess he will be snapped up by a L1 side. Hopefully, Bonner can get the best from what he has inherited.

Jayden Clarke - why hasn’t he been transferred listed!? Terrible signing. I bet he can’t believe his luck.

Harsh on Clarke. Think there's something there, showed it at times last year.
Malone will find a L1/2 club if his wage demands are sensible - can't see anyone paying us for him though, so free transfer.
J. Williams a lucky boy based on his output

Feeling that things are not panning out as we'd all wanted, players out new in ect. Unless there's something going on behind the scenes I think we're looking at another few season in lg2, if we're lucky!

Well the back 4 wasn't really a problem last year. It's the forward facing players that need changing, and at least 4 of them are on the block. This team could look massively different with a dynamic midfielder and some pace up top and in those attacking midfield roles.

Agree, but as usual gfc dragging it's feet in the market. Look at rovers, lost in the playoffs offloaded players and got new one's straight in! Half our team hasn't worked for two managers, what makes them think they'll work for a third gaffer!🤔

Sadly our reaction time is what you'ld expect from a sleeping giant and once again we can look to our recruitment team for professional levels of somnambulism. I really don't know why we pay three people to do three ha'pence of f+++ all.

'Why haven't we done a load of transfer business' before the league 2 playoffs have even finished has to be some of the most ludicrous criticism ever posted. There's no way that's a serious comment

Since many clubs have announced their retained lists and all with any foresight will have been identifying targets before now, comments about new signings are perfectly serious. I can't see where anyone has said 'a load of transfer business'. I would suggest the 'wait and hope for the best' approach is the very reason why our recruitment team performs so poorly in key areas of squad weakness. I thought the idea behind appointing people with plenty of contacts was that they used them pro-actively.

Of course and bang on. It seems now that its a policy...and there was me blaming Scally. Like the Tories CHOOSE austerity GFC chooses Somnambulism. That's why managers keep getting sacked. It's clear that the 3 will make the decisions. The manager must do what he can with what he's given. No real money will be spent on quality and it won't be quick. As usual. The 3 or 4 have been and will be untouchable. That's why they re still there. I fear very poor management in our club, the same as its been for 25 years. I thought Brad would change that but I think he's sleep walking. Scally may me happy to watch him fail like rumours suggest. If Brad doesn't fail I'm sure it will be luck. I would welcome that luck but it looks to me the lunatics are running the asylum. My letter to Comper asking for certain reassurances, as a long time fan, receiving no answer at all fills me with no confidence at all. The old guard still has it and Brad is happy to let it ride. I can't see it going anywhere. I'll still turn up when I can..for now. But let's not sleep walk ourselves. All is not good at GFC.
